LZEA expected to vote on multi-year
agreement May 23, Board of Ed vote May 24

(LAKE ZURICH, IL)—On Monday, April
30, the negotiating team representing the Board of
Education of Community Unit School District (CUSD)
95 and the negotiating team for the Lake Zurich
Educational Association (LZEA), which represents the
district’s certified teaching staff, reached a
tentative successor contract to the current
five-year agreement that will expire on August 28.
Terms of the tentative agreement will remain
confidential until after the ratification votes by
the LZEA and Board of Education. The LZEA is
expected to vote on the tentative agreement on May
23. If approved by the LZEA, the Board of Education
is expected to vote on the multi-year agreement on
May 24.
