Seven in Dist. 95 Win State Honors for Distinguished
Service
District 95 once again wins the most awards
in the statewide program!

(LAKE ZURICH, IL)—Lake
Zurich Middle School South teacher Jean Bush
and parent and Seth Paine School parent volunteer
Mary Beth Euker will receive the Award of
Excellence and five other individuals will be
honored with the Award of Merit in the 2007
Distinguished Service Awards (DSA) program luncheon
on May 18, at the Bolingbrook Golf Club in
Bolingbrook, IL. The seven awards for District 95
are the most won by any one school district in this
year’s INSPRA statewide awards program, and set a
record for the most INSPRA Distinguished Service
Awards ever won by District 95.

Community Relations, Award of Merit
“These award winners have gone above
and beyond to help ensure a high quality education
for all of our students,” said Superintendent Dr.
Brian Knutson. “They truly reflect our
district’s core value that ‘successful
communities are the result of people working in
partnership toward common goals’.”
Emceed each year by NBC Channel 5
news anchor Dick Johnson, the annual DSA
program is sponsored by the Illinois Chapter of the
National School Public Relations Association
(INSPRA). The seven will be joined at the luncheon
by Superintendent Dr. Brian Knutson, other school
and district administrators, as well as family
members and friends of the award winners.
According to INSPRA president
Terry Ryan, the statewide DSA program honors
individuals who have consistently “gone the extra
mile” on behalf of their schools and school
districts, and whose efforts have enhanced education
and conveyed its importance to the community at
large.
