Taft Trip -Day One - Monday
February 24, 2010

So we loaded the buses and were off at about 9: 05. We made good time and arrived at Taft in time to wave goodbye to the 5th grade from Spencer Loomis. We unloaded our gear (the boys had a shorter walk), and headed to Poulie ( the birding building) where we went over the rules and met the Taft Staff. After that it was time for lunch, and 4 hours of outside activities. After a little time on the dorm, we had a delicious turkey dinner, with mashed potatoes, green beans and warm homemade rolls, and chocolate pudding, a little dinner theater, the weather report and off to dress warm again for our night time Alpha Wolf activity. I heard that Mr. Herlocker's group found the wolf a few times! It is off to bed as we are all tired from our trip and all that fresh air. Check back tomorrow for more photos and an update.
