Introduction
Hello, I am a hedgehog. Do you want to learn more about me and who created
me?
Task
You will go to Jan Brett's homepage http://www.janbrett.com/index.html.
You and a partner will work together on one activity from Activity A, one from
Activity B, and everyone will send an e-mail to Jan Brett on her Web page.
Process
Activity A is to choose one of these two activities:
1. Make an alphabet book using the name of one of the characters from the book The
Mitten. www.janbrett.com/alphabet_main.htm
or
2. The other choice is to write a letter to a character from the book The
Mitten using the stationary from the home page. http://www.janbrett.com/friendly_stationary_main.htm
Activity B is to choose one of these two activities:
1. Make a milk carton armadillo using the directions from the homepage. http://janbrett.com/armadillo_carton_project_page.htm
or
2. The other choice is to draw your own Berlioz, the Bear following the
directions. http://www.janbrett.com/learn_to_draw_a_bear.htm
Required activity is to send an e-mail to Jan Brett and tell her what you
think of her books.
