Subject: Social Studies/Language Arts
Curricular Goal: Describe the role of the U.S. President/Punctuate addresses
Introduction:
You are a citizen from the planet Seth Paine. Your leader has sent you to Earth
to find out information about the job of the President of the United States.
Task:
Your mission is to find the President, get information about his job, and bring
it back to your leader.
Process:
1. Use a map to locate the where the president lives and works.
2. Use the internet to get some background information about the president.
3. Think of a question to ask the president about his job.
4. Locate the president's email address and write him a letter asking him your
question.
5. Print a copy of your email to present to your leader.
6. Wait for a reply from the President of the United States.
