Grade: 10
Subject: English- "To Kill a Mockingbird"

Introduction:
There are numerous Supreme Court cases that dealt with racial issues.  Research a Supreme Court case that dealing with a racial issue and discuss its impact on America.  In addition discuss your findings in relation to "To Kill a Mockingbird".

Task:
Formulate and defend your position during a classroom presentation.

Process:
1) You will be placed in groups of four (4)
2) Each student will be assigned a research task: Two (2) students will focus on research in the library (books, encyclopedias, criticism, etc.) and two (2) students will focus their research using the Internet.
3) After the research is collaborated, the students will relate the information to the novel.
4) The students will plan and present the above information (2-3) to the class.
