
Process:
Follow these steps to complete your quest.
1. Read THE TINY SEED
with your partner.
2. Draw a picture of how the seed changes in each
season. Look at the book again to
see
the different seasons
the seed travels through.
Make sure you include all four seasons
and label
them.
3. Label the parts of a plant on a separate piece of
paper. Be sure to include the
roots, stem, leaves,
flower and new seed.
4. Using a handful of seeds, see how many ways
your group can categorize them.
5. Wow!! Your quest is almost over. Talk
with
your partner
about how weather will effect the
growth of a
seed.
