Wacky Grammar Tales
Subject: Language Arts
Curricular Goal: Identify and apply correct use of grammar (nouns, verbs and
adjectives) in the writing process.
Introduction:
You have just been hired by J.K. Rowling to publish a Wacky Tale. Your wacky task is
to investigate nouns, verbs and adjectives. Collect your royalties (up to 50 points)
when you have completed your quest for proper use of grammar.
Task: Students will explore...
1. and find information on nouns, verbs, adjectives from various sites.
2. and use information to create their own tale.
Process:
1. Find a partner and choose/define roles.
2. Review parts of speech by clicking on various links.
3. Practice, review and quiz your knowledge of nouns, verbs and adjectives.
4. Create your Wacky Tale.
5. Print a copy of your Wacky Tale.
6. Collect your royalties (points earned out of 50).
