Did you know that the protection of speech was first introduced when the Magna Carta was signed in 1215? The protection of free speech has remained an important liberty of the free world since then. In honor of that protection, Bear Facts will be raffling off great prizes, as well as raising money for the Student Press Law Center, whose mission is to support student rights. Help out by donating to the teacher Penny Wars to silence a teacher for a day! The teacher who raises the most money – not just pennies! – gets censored. After day one, Mr. Silverman, Mr. Kaufman, and Ms. McDonough are in the lead. Donate today! Keep following @lzbearfacts on Twitter and Instagram for more updates!
