Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee
Description
The Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee (BPAC) is made up of parents and guardians of students currently or previously enrolled in either a TBE or TPI program within the district. The committee can also include bilingual and EL teachers, administrators, and community leaders.
The committee supports the planning, operation, and evaluation of the programs offered to multilingual students in the district. In addition, members of the BPAC committee assist in planning topics for our EL Family Engagement events.

Facilities & Business Operations Committee
Description
This committee provides for review and discussion pertaining to facility-related items and business-related functions. The committee provides guidance on the implementation of strategic planning efforts related to the repairs, updates, design, and construction of facilities within the district, including but not limited to master planning; improvements to existing facilities; recommendations related to the budgeting associated with facilities projects; and identification of efficiencies. The committee will monitor ongoing facilities projects and communicate to the Board regarding those projects. Additionally, the committee provides guidance on business and operation functions in the areas of finance, transportation, and food service.

Description
The focus of this committee is to monitor and provide input in the following areas: the impact of illnesses on the school community (including COVID and others); the District's nutritional and physical wellness practices; student social-emotional wellbeing.

Teaching & Learning Committee
Description
The primary purpose of this committee is to focus on the continuous improvement of educational programs offered at Lake Zurich Community Unit District 95. This committee will engage in in-depth discussion on matters of teaching and learning including curriculum, assessment, and instructional practices, programs and initiatives, resource adoption and curriculum review. Additionally, this committee will review the efforts related to school improvement and associated data related to student achievement. Updates regarding education-related legislation will be brought to this committee for discussion and review.
