Registration - Returning Students (2018-19)

We are pleased to announce that the District is implementing a new online registration system.  The system, PowerSchool InfoSnap, is intended to make the registration process for returning students easier and will also provide functionality for the District to automate registration for new students in the future.

Instructions for accessing the system were sent via email on April 25th from PowerSchool Registration Support (<noreply@noreply.powerschool.com>) to the email address on file with your student’s school. 

Please check your spam folder if you don’t receive this email.

Online registration for students returning for the 2018-19 school year is available upon receipt of the email containing your student’s snapcode (key), sent April 25th.  It is important for you to register your student for next school year as soon as possible since the district uses this information to determine the number of teachers and classes we will need at each school.  If your student is not returning for the next school year, please notify the school office as soon as possible.  The deadline to complete registration is May 24th.

Follow These Simple Steps!

Step 1

Your email or letter will include instructions, a link to the system, and your student’s “snapcode.”  The snapcode is a key to your student’s registration for the upcoming school year. You will receive a separate email/letter, and unique snapcode and/or snapcode link for each student.

Step 2

Create an account using your email address or cell phone number. This allows you to securely save your work and come back to it at a later time if necessary.  Once your account is set up you can use this same account to complete forms for multiple students, but you will need each individual student’s snapcode.   Please note that this system is separate from eSchool Home Access Center so you will be required to create an InfoSnap account.  Your Home Access password will not allow access to the registration system.   Data, however, is transferred securely between the two systems so that forms are pre-populated for ease of completion.

Step 3

Complete the form following the onscreen prompts and pay registration and optional fees.  Submit the form. Please Note:  Payment transactions will show on your credit card statement as “PWRSCHOOL 8882657641 MD 866-9861601.”

NOTE

Only guardians listed as residing in the same household as the student can register their student.  If our records indicate your student(s) has two guardians listed as living in the same household, both guardians will receive an email with the same snapcode.  Because the information you provide is specific for each student you will repeat the process for additional students.  However, once you submit one returning Student Registration and then start another, the system allows you to “snap over” shared family information. If there is no guardian/parent email on file, then a letter will be sent with registration instructions and codes.
