Find Your School
Find Your School
Your child's school ("attendance area") is determined based upon your home address. [NOTE: If you are considered homeless, click here to visit our Homeless Family Information webpage.]
The address lookup map (see link below) is provided as a convenience and powered by a 3rd party, therefore Lake Zurich School District 95 cannot guarantee that all address appear in the correct location. Placement on this map does not guarantee a specific school assignment. For questions, please contact the Transportation Department at 847-438-2834.
If you are unable to view the address lookup map or if you have other questions about your attendance area, please contact us via email at Feedback@lz95.org or via phone at 847-438-2831.
Registration & School Fees
Registration & School Fees
District 95 offers online registration for students entering Preschool through 12th gradeK-12+. For registration instructions, requirements, fees, and more, please visit the Registration page. For technical questions related to registration, please contact Support@lz95.net for help.
Health Requirements & Health Forms
Health Requirements & Health Forms
The District health offices are staffed with a variety of highly educated, dedicated health care professionals. Our philosophy is that optimal learning requires good health. The health office staff provides open lines of communication between school, home, and community, and take the lead in early detection and correction of health problems.
In addition, there are a number of required health forms - determined by the State of Illinois per grade level - which must be completed in order for students to attend school. Click here to visit our Health Services webpage for more information about required health requirements, health forms, food allergies, and other important information.

Safety & Security
Safety & Security
The top priority of Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 is the safety and well-being of students, staff, and visitors. A uniform, planned, and practiced response to any incident is the foundation of a safe school. In 2022, District 95 adopted the Standard Response Protocol (SRP). The SRP is based on an all-hazards approach - as opposed to individual scenarios - and utilizes clear common language while allowing for flexibility in responses during a crisis situation. There are five specific actions that can be performed during an incident: Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, and Shelter.
For families new to the district, we recognize that you may not yet be familiar with this protocol. We encourage you to read more about the Standard Response Protocol on the district’s Safety & Security webpage. Please know that throughout the school year, you may receive communications relating to the five actions defined by the SRP - with Hold and Secure being the most common.
The SRP’s development is ever-evolving, created with extensive collaboration between experts such as first responders, public safety, schools, districts, and communities. Its tactics are data-driven, researched and based on experience and best practices. Thank you for taking a moment to understand our protocols and commitment to safety and security.
Technology
Technology
The Technology Department is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, security and operation of the information systems and classroom technology in District 95. Technology is a powerful tool for transforming learning. It allows us to rethink our approaches to communication and collaboration as well as providing opportunities for organizational efficiency and productivity so that we can meet the needs of students who have grown up in a digital era. All elementary, middle school, high school, and transition students in District 95 are issued a student device.
Special Education
Special Education
Once families complete registration for their student(s), district staff will request all records from their previous school district - which will include a request for any special education records. However, it can be helpful for parents of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to provide a copy of the most recent IEP at the time of registration, in order to expedite the transition planning process.
Upon receipt of your student’s IEP, members of the building and/or district administrative team will review your student’s IEP and communicate next steps accordingly. A next step might include convening a team IEP meeting prior to the start of school (or shortly after registration, if a family is joining the district mid-year).
Click here for more information regarding special education services in District 95.

Early Childhood
Early Childhood
District 95 operates an early childhood education program at May Whitney Elementary School. The program supports students with identified disabilities (students with Individualized Education Programs/IEPs), students who meet at-risk criteria, and students without disabilities. District 95 also funds special education services in off-campus placements for students whose more significant needs cannot be met within district programming.
If your student already has an IEP and is receiving early childhood services, upon receipt of your student’s IEP - members of the building and/or district administrative team will review your student’s IEP and communicate next steps accordingly. A next step might include convening a team IEP meeting prior to the start of school (or shortly after registration, if a family is joining the district mid-year).

Registration and Language Services
When you register, you will answer two questions about your child’s home language and native language. If a language other than English is spoken or used in your home, your child will be screened to determine their level of English proficiency. Your child may or may not qualify for English language services based on their level of English proficiency.
English Language and Bilingual Programs
At District 95, we embrace the students' linguistic and cultural diversity, valuing each unique perspective as we strive for academic excellence and prepare our students to succeed in an interconnected global society. To address our English Language Learners' unique needs, we have implemented a comprehensive Transitional Program of Instruction (TPI) across all schools. Additionally, qualifying schools in our district also provide specialized Transitional Bilingual Education (TBE) programs in Spanish, Polish, Ukranian and Russian, designed to foster language proficiency and cultural understanding.
