Consent Agenda, Boundaries – Kildeer Crossings

The Board approved changing the attendance boundaries to move Cardinal Drive and Kildeer Crossings into the Sarah Adams attendance area.

Facilities Committee Update

The Board of Education was provided updates on the following capital improvement projects to potentially be started this summer.

  • Middle School Steam Labs
  • MSN/SL Libraries
  • MSS Parking Lot
  • IF Playground
  • SA Ditch Restoration
  • MW Parking Lot
  • LZHS Front Drive (baseball field to upper parking lot)

School Improvement Plans

Mrs. Angela Stallion, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction, and the building leaders from Isaac Fox, May Whitney, Sarah Adams, Seth Paine, and Spencer Loomis provided an overview of each secondary school's improvement plan for the current school year.   • Resolution for Teacher’s Retirement System Supplemental Savings Plan
  • Isaac Fox Playground Equipment Approval
  • Board of Education Travel Expenses

Health & Wellness: COVID Update

General health updates were provided regarding the 7 and 14 day number of new case incidence rates, which continue to place our 60047 zip code area in the substantial range of COVID cases. The superintendent also shared the internal district case information including the following:

District 95 Internal Data

  • Total Cases to Date: 206 (33 staff, 258 students)
  • Current active cases (students/staff currently in isolation): 6 staff, 38 students
  • Current school-based exclusions: 47
  • Current staff/students in test-to-stay protocol: 1 staff, 15 students
