Teaching and Learning Committee Update

Mrs. Stallion, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, briefed the Board of Education on the following topics:

  • Math interventions at Lake Zurich High School
  • Update of School Improvement (SIP) meetings
  • Review of Summer Semester Survey
  • Update on curriculum and resource adoption

Reports to the Board

Mrs. Cullinan, Assistant Superintendent for Business and Operations, presented the revenue and expenditure quarterly reports comparing the budget to actuals through the second quarter of FY21. Additionally, the report lists the percentage of revenue or expenditures received fiscal year to date for the previous two years. Overall year-to-date figures are very similar to previous years.

Health & Wellness: COVID Update

Dr. McArdle, Assistant Superintendent for Student Services, reported that District 95 internal data is consistent with the sharp decline that is being reported across the region and state.

  • Current active COVID cases: 21 students and 6 staff
  • School based exposure exclusions: 0 students and 0 staff
  • Test to stay: 0 students and 4 staff
