Reports to the Board

Substitute Pay Update – Ms. Becich, Executive Director of Human Resources, reported that additional per period compensation (Middle School and High School levels) has not been adjusted in several years in correlation with the daily rate changes. Proposed rates for the 22-23 compensation based on changes in period length were discussed.

Financial Dashboard – Dr. Romano, Assistant Superintendent of Business and Operations, proposed options for the Board of Education to review Financial Dashboard reports.

Discussion Without Action

May Whitney Solar Report – Dr. Romano updated the Board on the ongoing investigative work regarding the benefits, costs, and savings related to the potential addition of roof-mounted solar panels for select district school sites.

Discussion With Action

Approval of 2022-2023 Lunch Prices – Dr. Romano recommended the approve the student elementary/middle school type “A” lunch price of $3.30 and $3.40 for the high school type “A” lunch the for the 2022-2023 school year. Motion approved.
