Principal's Corner

Welcome to Lake Zurich High School! Our mission is to "empower every learner to achieve personal excellence" in whatever they endeavor to accomplish.

Originally established in 1926 as Ela-Vernon High School, Lake Zurich High School is a public high school of approximately 1,900 students and 175 staff members.  We offer 30 different AP courses and have multiple dual credit options through our agreement with the College of Lake County.  In addiiton, we have a comprehensive set of curricular, extra-curricular, and co-curricular offerings including 25 athletic teams and 37 extra and co-curricular clubs and activities.  We are very proud of our connection to our community and are fortunate to share our journey with our parents and community members.
